In January, 2011 Gayle O'Neil sold the business in Corbin, Ky to Mark C. Lawson. Mark has over 30 years experience in the Funeral business, including 21 years at O'Neil Funeral Home. Gayle O'Neil continued to be actively involved , and reside at the funeral home until his death on April 18, 2014. Mark's goal is to continue carrying on the O'Neil tradition of the at home feeling that has made families feel welcome and comfortable. Mark, and the friendly staff are here to assure that tradition will continue for years to come. Today, there is increased interest in prearrangement and personalization of funerals. As an independent, locally owned firm, O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home has the flexibility to meet this special needs of all our families with honesty in business and dignified, compassionate service. Our standard of excellence, begun more than eighty-four years ago, is alive today under the direction of Mark C. Lawson and his staff, and will be the foundation of our service in the future.

Austin C. Rose

Austin C. Rose is a Kentucky licensed Funeral Director.  Austin was born December 10th, 1997. He is the oldest son of Charles (Chuck) and Michelle Rose and the grand son of Bill (Pete) and Rucella Rose. Austin is a graduate of Whitley County High School, where he served as an FFA officer and many other extra ciricular activities. Austin has three siblings Lauren (Johnathan) Troutman and Caleb (Brandy) Rose and Savanna (Matthew) Powers. Austin is a very active member Corbin Full Gospel. In his free time Austin enjoys being with family and friends, and spend a large majority of his time with his 12 nieces and nephews, Ellie, Jaxon, Lillie, Lincoln, Lacey, Allie, Waylon, Walker, Paisley, Noah, wade and one on the way. He enjoys fishing, hiking, camping. Austin Served full time with the Staff of O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home for 5 year till a breif time away. In September of 2021 Austin was awarded The Best of The Best funeral director for the Tri-county (knox, Whitley, and laurel counties) as well as recognized as a Kentucky Colonel, by senator McConnell office for service families for over 10 years.

Austin now serves as a reserve Director, assisting when needed or at request by families and finds it to be an honor and privilege to once again serve the community and the families of O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home.  

Cody Cooper

Cody is a licsenced Funeral Director for O'neil-Lawson Funeral Home of Corbin, Kentucky. 

Cody is a life long resident of Whitley County Kentucky. He was born April 27, 1992 to Greg Cooper and Carla Jefferes.Cody is married to Tierra Veach-Cooper and they have 4 children Harper, Lucas, Waylon, and Eliza. He is a graduate of Whitley County Highschool and has been in the funeral industry since 2011. Cody enjoys spending his free time with his wife, and kids. Cody also enjoys working with his wife in their Dog grooming and Dog boarding business along with farming, horseback riding and spending time with his frineds and family.
